Join the Whistler Weasel Workers

The Whistler Weasel Workers are a voluntary organization of over 400 people who support ski racing by building world-class Downhill and Super Giant Slalom race courses for World Cup, Olympic and National Championship events.

Weasel Workers have participated in every Canadian Championship and World Cup downhill event held over the years at Whistler. They have also participated in course preparation for Olympic downhills at Calgary in 1988 and at Salt Lake in 2004. They have assisted with the Lake Louise Winterstart downhill annually since 2001 and at the World Championships in Spain in xxxx. In Jan. 2005, a Weasel Worker contingent will assist with the World Championships in Bormio, Italy.

The Weasel Workers welcome new members. Come and enjoy the camaraderie, the sense of accomplishment and the personal challenge of being part of the World Cup team. We have many members who take their annual vacation and travel long distances just to participate in our 7-to-10 day course preparation binges.

We are in particular need of young men and women who will train with us for the next few years and "learn the ropes" in preparation for the 2010 Olympics, in which the Whistler Weasel Workers expect to be heavily involved.
